The OCULUS Pentacam AXL is a next-generation anterior segment analysis system that combines Scheimpflug imaging technology and axial length measurement (Axial Length) to deliver comprehensive, non-contact assessment of the eye’s anterior segment. It enables detailed evaluation of the corneal shape, thickness and curvature, measures anterior chamber depth, angle width and lens position, and integrates these results with ocular biometry for refractive and cataract surgery planning.
Technical specifications include an operating distance of 80 mm, curvature measurement range of 3-38 mm or 9-99 D, precision of ±0.1 D, and the ability to capture up to 100 images in 2 seconds with high-speed CMOS/CCD cameras.
